Big shot, yes you are
Big dreams got you this far
Never let the small stuff slow you down
Time wasted's money spent
Fun is for retirement
There's no time to think about that now
But even though you're running late
Your two-year-old wants patty cake
And if you'll stop to play
It just might make your day
All the joy you've missed
Comes in moments just like this
Let the ordinary make you happy
Let the little things cheer your heart
When the search for something special
Makes you miss the things that are
Let the ordinary make you happy
Be amazed by this life we live
And you'll start to see each day
As the gift it is
Browsing fancy stores
All you need is just one more
Something to make others envy you
But parts and warrantees
Storage and accessories
Make you wonder who is buying who
And all this trouble's such a waste
Of this lovely summer's day
Brought to you for free
With everything you need
Take the money you have saved
Buy a stranger lemonade
Rich kid on a plane
Used to being entertained
There's no Playstation at this altitude
Making matters worse
An old grandmother and her nurse
Sit down in the seats right next to you
She says she hasn't flown in years
And talking sometimes calms her fears
And to your great surprise
Her story's quite a ride
And before the journey ends
You've somehow made a friend

Faith is like walking by night
Following but without sight
And when there's only darkness
And I cannot go on
You shine the light at my feet
And I take one step
And you shine the light at my feet
And I take one step
I can't see the way before me
I don't know the road ahead
So, you shine the light at my feet
And I take one step
I wanna see, I wanna know more
My struggle here, what's it all for?
And you reveal the answers
But not before their time
{Chorus}
And I look back on all the things
That you have brought me through
And I see where this is going
How you make me more like you
{Chorus}
So, shine the light at my feet
And I'll take one step

The pathway is broken
The signs are unclear
And I don't know the reason why you brought me here
But just because you love me the way that you do
I'm gonna walk through the valley
If you want me to
‘Cause I'm not who I was
When I took my first step
And I'm clinging to the promise you're not through with me yet
And if all of these trials bring me closer to you
I'm gonna walk through the fire
If you want me to
It may not be the way I would have chosen
‘Cause it leads me through a world that's not my home
But you never said it would be easy
You only said I'd never go alone
So, when the whole world turns against me
And I'm all by myself
And I can't hear you answer my cries for help
I'll remember the suffering your love put you through
And I will walk through the darkness
If you want me to
And when I cross over Jordan
I'm gonna sing, I'm gonna shout
I'm gonna look into your eyes and say, "You never let me down"
Just show me the pathway that leads home to you
And I will walk through the valley
If you want me to

She's got a toddler and a baby, but she's just a child herself
She's desperate but she's too afraid to ask for help
As she wanders through our yard sale, we want to offer food
But we don't want to embarrass her, we don't want to intrude
Thinking, "How can we
Be what she needs?"
She needs friends to be like family
In the best and worst of times
A job, some education, and enough cash to get by
Women who will listen
Men that she can trust
There's still a chance she'll make it
But she's gonna need...
All of us, she'll need all of us
She'll need all of us
He longs to be the savior of people such as these
He wants to wipe out hunger, house the homeless, cure disease
He rides in on his white horse, he's noble and unbowed
Til his money, optimism, and his patience have run out
He thinks, "I should have known
I can't do this on my own...
{chorus}
She stands with all the others in a sea of caps and gowns
Cheers rise from the balcony when her name is called out
She says I'd like to give you all the gift that I have found
A church to be there for you when others let you down
‘Cause the day is gonna come
When you will be the one...
Who needs friends to be like family
In the best and worst of times
To celebrate your victories
Cry with you when you cry
A sea of faithful people
So that when the trouble comes
They surround you like a wave
That gently lifts you up...
And that takes
All of us, that takes all of us
That takes all of us

When I feel selfish, I tell myself this
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
The taste of ice cream, the breath I'm breathing
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
Though I ignore it, my planet orbits
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
And though I'm sleeping, my heart keeps beating
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!
I have to thank you for...
New understanding, music for dancing,
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
The way a hug feels, the way my hurts heal
Every little thing I have is a gift
I know that life can be sad, even tragic
Frightening and unfair
But it's because we've become so accustomed
To the goodness around us everywhere
Forgive me each time, I'm slow to realize
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
This kind of reverence makes all the difference
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!
I have to thank you for...
A word to guide me, loved ones beside me
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
Help in disaster, the sound of laughter
Every little thing I have is a gift
I never asked for my friends or my family
The peace a prayer can bring
How could I pay what it's all worth to me?
Why on earth would you give me everything?
Freedom to leave you, wisdom to need you
Every little thing I have is a gift from you
Courage to trust you, privilege to love you
All of this is a gift! All of this is a gift!
All of this is a great big gift!

Left to my own devices
I would lose my way
Quit my job and lie in bed all day
Or I might get so ambitious
I neglect the ones I love
Ignore the world around me
Forget what God has done
I need a rhythm to live by
Time for work and worship, rest and play
I need a rhythm to live by
Time to stop and let the Spirit have its say
Help me find the balance I was made for
From the start
I need a rhythm to live by
So my feet can keep the beat of my heart
There's a pattern to the seasons
Like the dance of day and night
And every living thing makes peace with time
But I struggle in my freedom
Like a drowning man for air
For a mission, a communion
For a Sabbath, and a prayer
{Chorus}

I'll let you go off
Your first day of school
Where strangers stand guard
And kids are cruel
And I'll whisper in your ear
"I love you
I love you so"
So, whatever else they tell you
You'll know
I'll let you go off
Diploma in hand
To conquer a world
You don't understand
And I'll whisper in your ear
"I love you
I love you so"
So, whatever else they tell you
You'll know
You'll know someone thinks you're beautiful
Someone thinks you're smart
And you're the song that keeps the beat
In someone's heart
Who knows you best
So, don't forget
I'll say this enough
So that when I am gone
My memory will echo
Loud and strong
Enough to whisper in your ear
"I love you
I love you so"
So, whatever else they tell you
You'll know

Ceasar built an empire
He ruled from shore to shore
Now he's mostly remembered
For when a baby was born
He wanted everyone counted
So, all the people went
He was the main attraction
But even he missed the main event
Later on at the temple
The time for offerings came
The coffers rang with the money
The wealthy people gave
Jesus said, "See that widow?
She gave her last two cents!
Ya'll were the main attraction
But she was the main event"
Sorta makes me wonder
What God's doing in my life
What matters most so often goes
Unrecognized
Crowds at the crucifixion
All the disciples fled
Three days found them hiding
Underneath their beds
The women went to the graveyard
Came back and told the men
You saw the main attraction
But you all missed the main event
{Chorus}
Jesus said seek the kingdom
Maybe what he meant
Is this world's main attractions
Are hardly ever, almost never
The main event

This is a dream I have
That there might be a place
Where before I cross the threshold
They recognize my face
They've been expecting me
The table has been set
My bed's already made
And they speak to me this way
You are welcome in this family
You are wanted in this place
You have value to your Maker
That your past cannot erase
There is room for all your searching
There is music for your song
There are shoulders you can cry on
And the strength to carry on
You belong here
Welcome home
What am I striving for
When this is in my reach?
Could I become the refuge
Some weary traveler seeks?
And as I let them in
Will my life not be changed?
To give the love I long for
And be unafraid to say
{Chorus}
I will throw the door wide open
Run to meet you at the gate
And there will be a glad reunion
We have much to celebrate
You belong here
Welcome home

Three farmers each bought land and went out to the fields
Each planting what he thought would bring the biggest yield
Just like you and me, just like you and me
Farmer one rose with the sun and said "I'll see you later
Gotta get'r done, be number one and beat out all my neighbors
He said, "Don't you know? You reap what you sow"
So, he planted business
And the crop that came up was resentment
From the children who most needed his attention
And a wife who wanted some sign of commitment
To the things that made her love him years ago
He grew a fortune
But it didn't matter since his life was shortened
‘Cause he killed himself on things that weren't important
And all his money couldn't save his soul
You reap what you sow
Farmer two had much to do and not much time to do it
He thought about the good life and the fastest shortcut to it
He said, "Don't you know? You reap what you sow"
So, he planted pleasure
He only worked when he had perfect weather
Had some fun, but he wound up a beggar
And then those friends of his just hit the road
Where did they go?
He grew so selfish
But he never had a taste of what true wealth is
And he would tell you he believes that hell is
When the parties over and you're all alone
You reap what you sow
Farmer three, as you will see, had a better understanding
Of all of these it was only he who chose a seed worth planting
He said, "Don't you know? You reap what you sow"
So, he planted love
And the crop that came up was more love
And he shared what he had with those who had none
And somehow even in the droughts he had enough
He always had enough
‘Cause he grew friendship
And everyone who knew him felt a kinship
The world's a better place cause he was in it
And though he died the harvest never ended, oh no
It just grows and grows. It just grows and grows
You reap what you sow

I've been asking for the moon every time I pray
Making promises to follow and obey
How could it be I somehow failed to say
I love you?
I have come to you confessing my doubts and fears
Choosing words that will sound reverent and sincere
Forgetting that you wanted most to hear
I love you
Every other love I've ever known
Was your love from the start
Reaching out to me in countless ways
From your overflowing heart
I can't reach you through the mail or the telephone
But there are hurting people everywhere I go
And when I show compassion, then you know
I love you
Every other love I've ever known
Was your love from the start
Reaching out to me in countless ways
From your overflowing heart
You have always tried to give me your very best
And so many times I've settled for much less
Now teach me how to live a life that says
I love you
I love you like I do

We are willful and stubborn
And we're sure we know best
Though we need one another
Some rush on up ahead
And by nightfall we find
Some were lost, some were left
And we cannot save them all
But we have a shepherd
A shepherd who will not sleep
Until he has found us
And brings home the last lost sheep
And brings home the last lost sheep
We are blind to the dangers
And so quick to believe
When the wolves in sheep's clothing
Come to prey on the weak
And they have us surrounded
Before we can flee
And we cannot save ourselves
But we have a shepherd
A shepherd who loves so much
That when we are helpless
He lays down his life for us
Still my heart's prone to wander
From the path I have known
To the wild barren desert
Unprotected, alone
‘Til I'm starving for meaning
My hope has run dry
And I cannot find my way
But I have a shepherd
Who leads where the green grass grows
And there by still waters
The shepherd restores my soul
The shepherd restores my soul
